I have noticed more and more often every door that can be opened in the city of Baldur's Gate has been left open. Just a reminder folks, you can close doors by using page 3 of the custom button options of PC Tools. If you are not familiar with PC Tools find me in game and I can talk you through it.

We really should move that function to an easier spot, if we can. I try to use it whenever possible but it's a pain in the butt to repeatedly navigate to.

I remember fondly the Door Nazis of the original OAS...
"Hey!!"
"Yes, you, stranger!!"
"Close the bloody door or you can sleep out on the ice!"
My first inkling that something about ALFA was a bit ... different.

Good times... I miss them too.

Seconded...and I've been finding tents and campfires left on occassion as well, heh
But we can take comfort that this likely means new-blood is flowing in...and that's always a good thing

Or old blood, who despite spending a good two minutes trying to work out how to close doors, completely failed.

This used to be a legitimate profession, but since the P storage troubles, it takes a lot more effort than it used to.

I am sorry, I refuse to judge rp or be judged on rp on the basis of whether I or another player closes a door. I was somewhat willing to do so in nwn1, when it was just a simple click.
Now all this bs about having to go through pc tools, etc, screw that. If it's such a big deal, throw some auto close scripts on the doors.

I'm inclined to agree with Vendrin on this one. I wouldn't mind seeing this close door script on a seperate item. You could put in in your toolbar. Highlight the door. Click on the item and the door closes. ;
. . .but all this mess of activiating PC tools, opening the menu thingy, going to the right tab, highlighting the door, clicking on the door. Fuck that. Fuck it.

I am all for an easier method to have doors close around the city...either a auto close script, or a faster easier way to access the close doors button. For now though we have the 3rd page of PC Tools pain in the back side as our only option to close doors. All I am asking for is that we take the time to use it to close doors that we open. The occasional slip is no big deal, but on several occasions I have walked through the city of BG and found every door that could be opened, left open.

i'm quite certain there's a way to put the door closing as one of the options on right click... but damn if i know how to do it. it was done in haze though...
