A Land Far Away

Here is my visual recounting of the mission to eradicate Jolene's influence over the Cloakwood once and for all.

It took some time, and a few difficult choices, but I was able to whittle down the 304 screenshots taken that night to a manageable 60. The reason there were so many to begin with is because when I turn off the GUI to take screenshots, I move the camera around and hit 'Print Screen' at least a dozen times so I can go through the shots later and see which ones look best or caught the most action.

I plan to start a thread in the Library someday with all the screenshots taken over Venrill's travels, much in the way I've been doing for my old NWN1 character Kalev D'Kalas. Once that thread is started I'll write blurbs for sections like these but for now, I think the event is fresh enough in everyone's minds not to need them.

Feel free to save any of the ones you like for your own collections. Enjoy!

Wow, now that is a lot of images... I will have to go thru them later when I have more time.

I'm looking into doing better permissions stuff for the albums module,- or scrapping it for a better one. That way anyone can upload images to a ajax-type album like the one used for the memberpics etc on the left side. Much less work, and easier to browse.

Very cool stuff though, i'd love to share them with as many people as possible!

Just one of those things that are easier now with the forums integrated into the website.

As an added treat, please enjoy the following 20 bonus screenshots I delegated as bloopers, extras, and outtakes. Some of them were OOC occurrences, some of them were bad timing, and some of them just made me laugh when looked at a certain way.

Either Allina is really brave or the rest of us are really stupid.


Judging by the blindfolds, the size of the enemy, and the direction their swings are moving. I don't think this will end well for Venrill or Ashan.

Considering Shallac and Venrill's angles, this should have - at the very least - required a Will save. When you see it, you'll know why.
