Heya folks,
Now that we're on a machine physically much closer to the vault you should be able to enter combat without massive lag when killing a creature. Are things noticably better?

DB Lag?
There's a place I like to hide
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind

Re: DB Lag?
It looks significantly better to me, for now.
I can observe from my side considerable speed up. Ping around 90, less lag between mouse "clicks", faster response of abilities and items, more fluid WASD movement (although I rarely use this), instant arrival of text, etc, etc...

Re: DB Lag?
I agree. I've noticed a major improvement, especially in combat. Tonight could have been a major disaster if tess and lem had had to deal with lag on top of the mobs we ran into. As it was, we did just fine, and I only noted very minor delays in response times for combat commands.
There was only one thing I noticed, which i'm not sure is lag related, in that on a few occasions i tried to chain a whirlwind attack sequence and it got stuck after the first one, several times, not counting down the clock to make the next attack. I've seen this happen before, but never bothered to mention it. Anyone know what causes it?

Re: DB Lag?
No idea, I would guess an internal game mechanic as the same happens in the single player campaign, at least it does to me.
...Nasty...
It's always so much longer / Than you counted on / And it hits you so much harder / Than you thought
...wait, is this song about prison?
