Re: DM & Player Props
Thanks to Lokan for the impromptu/surprise DMing for us the past couple of days; it's been ages since I've had that wonderful and matchless '((roll listen)) "Ooooh, a DM is here!!" experience - great fun.

It’s not the critic who counts...The credit belongs to the man who actually is in the arena, who strives violently, who errs and comes up short again and again...who if he wins, knows the triumph of high achievement, but who if he fails, fails while daring greatly.-T. Roosevelt

Re: DM & Player Props
Cheers and thanks to T Ice for the long long long awaited wrap up session. There were some really nice touches and fun moments, and opportunities to RP various little details that I think lend texture to characters and gameworld, kudos.
The loot was a nice touch and flavorful too; been a long dry spell (over two years since the Viigas sessions) since I laid eyes on loot that my PC can use so certainly appreciated that as well!

Thanks to Ronan for setting up a little adventure for a new player last night.

No props since Aug 29? Shame on you, BG-players!
I give props to all of you who will partake in a journey into the twisted place called "Boom's Imaginatorum (tm)"

pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.

And bacon.
+1 to BB, always fun Ronan
Thanks to Heegz as well for the days where he was able to take some time for Aglaril. Also Lokan for a couple of sessions a month or two ago.

Props to HEEGZ, TrentFromPunchy, Regas, Cloud_Dancing and kid (for now, more props to come later to many others who deserve it of course). Thank you all for your awesome abilities in storytelling and gameplay. I'm always eager to login when I see any of you on. Cheers to the new players who just joined BG recently also, the RP is very inspirational and well received. Cheers.
Sincerely,

Cheers to Sidhe, a new player to ALFA. Great fun RPing with your PC on BG the other day as long as we did until ol' Bu was expectantly and inevitably shunned out the door (as usual).
Looking forward to seeing Silas online again soon, cheers and thank you Sidhe!

Re: DM & Player Props
Kudos to Ronan for consistently coming up (even on the fly) ways to hook us in, and also consistently making me think 'this week's probably the week Aglaril dies'.
Kudos to the other players in the weds night sessions as well, especially when we get a bit of a chance to log in during the week and RP out calmer conversations.

+10 to the above.
The morale of the story I think is 'don't get involved in crazy psycho <redacted> politics/intrigue, unless you're just as crazy.

Re: DM & Player Props
Last week, intrigue, this week, action. Then "uh oh, the escape route is actually a tour of more... and more... and more action of an unwanted nature."
Now time to chill.
