So. You click on it. Magpies are big fat white suckers. And good in ommelettes.

Magpie mushrooms and ferns are survival skills. No roll, just a required skill point total.

Bat guano is spellcraft, I think.

I like this aspect of BG very much and would like to see it extended onto the other servers. (MS has goodie spawns but as far as I've found, and I may be missing something/someone here, they are all useless or do not have an NPC collector.) Differing goodie types, or amount of goodie harvested, based on skill level would be a rather sweet tweak.

Hey Nick- Is it a total allocation of point or total ranks?

D&D skill checks are supposed to be based on ranks, not point allocation.

It's never been an issue for me if it's total rank or point allocation, and I've not seen the code, so I can't say for sure. But I'd suspect total rank is the one that matters.

It's also something I really enjoy about the server. It's like a little easter egg hunt, especially as there's an element of randomness involved.

There is a dungeon near Firewine Bridge where combat with small invisible creatures (rats or something?) caused my game to crash three times. The two other PCs with me crashed a couple times too before we all got out.

Which dungeon near firewine is this? Can you describe it?
People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.

"I'm somewhere where I don't know where I am."

I'm lost in the Cloakwood.

The area is labelled "Cloakwood" with a central cave.

I think that there is no exit AT to get back to the preceeding area.

There is one AT out which also leads to area "Cloakwood" which has some ruins etc.

I've searched for another AT out for a while but find my way back.....

There's an exit to every area. May just take you a while to find it.

The new Nashkel (the one with walls, north of the "old" outskirts), there's a little footbridge right around the middle of the whole affair. It looks important because it's the main path south. I didn't manage to walk on it with a PC. I did manage to pathfind waaaaaay around the West, down into water, past some waterfalls passage, then back up, noticing a "flying rock" somewhere in the SW, basically describing a big letter C to get to where a normal letter I should've got me.

Net, bridge seems wonky.

And a rock thing was flying somewhere south of that waterfall lake/pond thing, among a bunch of other rocks.

I heard not to open any doors in new Nash for now by Ronan, so I didn't, fyi.
