Re: Bug Report 2.01
Hin is halfling for halfling. Halflings don't consider themselves half of anything, the word is human in origin. Halfings will not consider halfling an insult, but they'd rather call themselves hin.
And so do most ALFAns, since it's less typing.

Re: Bug Report 2.01
But seeing as the NPC is not describing himself, this is correct:

I was not trying to start a riot, just thought I would mention it.

i don't think anyone's rioting, just makes for a fun conversation. i was also trying to make sure i haven't been misusing the terminology.jmecha wrote:I was not trying to start a riot, just thought I would mention it.

There's a place I like to hide
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind

Re: Bug Report 2.01
Didn't realise BG was up to Beta 3, so never really looked around before. I only had time for a quick squizz this morning.
Baldur's Gate Upper
* Map pin for Temple of Gond would be more intuitive at the entrance to the temple rather than around the back.
Agreed, Fixed
* The Armor Merchant is called "armor Merchant" (lower case a).
Fixed
* The clothing merchant has no shop.
Thanks to Danielmn, fixed.
Temple of Gond:
* Prices are screwy. e.g., Chainmail 375gp, Cure Light Wounds Potion: 30gp.
I believe this is totally fixed now. Combination of having the price modifier in the conversation and bad potion blueprints.
Temple of Tymora:
* No CLW potion?
* I'm not very familiar with pricing, but 375gp for a Ring of Fortitude +1 seems a little low.
Fixed i think, please check again.
Baldur's Gate Lower
Sorcerous Sundries:
* Map name rather taggy (and indicates it should be in BG Upper).
Fixed
* Doesn't appear to be a shop.
It is a shop if you have the right skills
The Blushing Mermaid
* Bork doesn't have a dialog
There is one attached, i'll have to investigate further. Someone please verify.
* There's a side door that looks like it should AT somewhere, but it doesn't.
Need more information on which door. In toolset appears to be hooked up.
Beregost
* Thunderhammer's Smithy map pin has angled brackets ("<", ">") around the name.
Fixed
* Lathander's Temple map pin has angled brackets ("<", ">") around the name.
Fixed
Feldepost's Inn
* Feldepost doesn't have a dialog.
Burning Wizard
* Barkeep doesn't have a dialog.
The Jovial Juggler
* No spawns at all.
Temple of Lathander
* Store has NWN2 vanilla prices. (e.g., Potion of CLW is 12gp)
Should be fixed, please verify.
Thunderhammer's Smity
* Store is overpriced. A bit below twice the price items should be.
Intended. Price of buying from the finest smith in all the land.
* Couldn't get into either Candlekeep or the Friendly Arms Inn.
Intended for Candlekeep. FAI has no interior yet.

Re: Bug Report 2.01
Just an observation: Many, many, many of the wilderness ATs are so damned big you can't help but run over them and AT out of the area by accident. Very annoying when trying to successfully run for your life without getting ported out of the area, causing your hunter to despawn by the time you get back to try to finish it off.
If you are running for your life then you just got away easier. If you're trying to kite the creature looks like he got away easier. This seems to working better than anticipated to me.
Oh, and another thing. The ATs for the Central Cloakwood cave are borked. you go in one area, say by the waterfall, and exit the same way you came in, and you're up at the top of the map, above the waterfall and behind some landscape, where the second cave entrance is. In other words, both exits to that cave take you to the upper entrance, rather than to two different locations.
Fixed, good catch.
On a lighter note, the doors leading to different levels are all locked and can't be picked or bashed.
Intended. I hope to expand this to a large cave system as we go.

Re: Bug Report 2.01
Had another look last night until my character got killed in the Cloakwood.
* There doesn't seem to be any area edge trigger ATs as there are in TSM. Will these be going in?
I'd like that at some point.
* Came across a body in one area. Had options to loot, bury and say last rites for the body (which was all pretty cool). Did I miss the option to take the body with you? (I skim read a lot and often miss things)
Please refer to information on statics.
* In Beregost, there are a lot of selectable signs outside shops, but not so much in Baldur's Gate. That makes it difficult to work out which buildings are shops without resorting to the map pins. If you don't want to use selectable signs in Baldur's Gate, perhaps you could put the names on the doors like a lot of TSM instead.
Good idea. Please tool them up and send me the .erf
* The only static quest I came across was the herb gathering. Are there some more traditional quests being added later? Otherwise the server isn't going to be very low level friendly.
Please refer to information on statics.
Beregost
* Street Merchant prices are high (Potion of Cure Light Wounds: 140gp)
Intended.
* Red Sheaf Inn, assuming it is not currently in the module as the AT doesn't work and there is no map pin?
Correct.

Re: Bug Report 2.01
* Found the secret place *wink* *wink* But I didn't seem to be able to go back the way I came.
It is possible, i have tested this with a group. Look carefully.
* So far, with no convos in Beregost and the other centres not accessible, there only appears to be one place to rest on the server. At 15gp a pop, that may be a bit prohibitive.
Check carefully, there are a number of places to rest. Bath house is restable for 10gp. Outside underneath ilmater shrine is free resting.
(Obviously some things I'm coming up with are suggestions rather than bugs... sorry for not splitting them out)

Re: Bug Report 2.01
The cure light wounds potions in the Temple of Gond went from 30gp to 18gp. And they're NWN potions, i.e., only useable on self and 10 HPs healed.
I believe this is fixed now as per above.

Re: Bug Report 2.01
Can't fix it at the moment sorry. It is on a new PWC that is only available to a few builders while we are polishing up the last 2-3 areas before going Live on Saturday. I'll see if someone can put the latest PWC on worldgate, but you may have to wait until Saturday at this point. The problems stems from access to worldgate. Once one of the builders has it, then we should be able to update the PWC without a middle man.
Re: Bug Report 2.01
Untill Saturday an update will be put in PWC so we could all login and play on BG,right?

I've asked around it seems you will have to wait until Saturday when BG goes Live before you can log in to it again.
