Your server is officially HDMless. I will be dming previous plots with Rathalan Whitsword when I can catch him and Merrin on Friday. Otherwise, I will be dming the Aurilites only. Anyone outside that group, do not send me PM's with questions, bugs, concerns, things to be bought, things to be crafted, or anything else pertaining to BG. Someone else will have to take care of it. Do not send me questions in IRC about the server, unless you are one of those mentioned above. Good luck to the next HDM, whomever it is going to be.

You know I realized that in the last two weeks I went from what I thought was a respectful player to a total spoiled brat whiner and I know it. I can think of at least three times I ranted at Dan over stupid stuff and I did'nt think for once that he took it personally.
But then again I did'nt see how seriously he takes his personal investment in BG as a server either.
I am very sorry for being ungreatful. I really must give Dan extreme amounts of praise for putting up with my incessant questions as a DM and a player. And I haven't ever been this lucky to have this much DM time since I started and I just lost focus.
What I really am hoping this will remind others is that this project is a cooperative effort. We don't pay for it persay, but if we don't pay into the project by volunteering a little time to make items, or dm, or script, or build, or host, someone is gonna burn out and we all loose resources.
I am also hoping this might wake the MANY sleeping DMs from their slumber and help them either step down or rise back up to the occasion to take just ONE four hour session a week, because the three active dms on BG and the four active dms on TSM can't do it all.
I also hope someone will rise up and take the HDMship of BG with a good intention to help it keep grounded.

Sorry to hear it Dan, Hopefully things'll be a little easier on you without the added stress of being HDM as well.
Might also mean you have a little more time to enjoy the actual playing as well?
