From Lotus to Winter . . .

Post by Mikayla »

For those that care and do not know yet, I have decided to retire my drow PC, Lotus. I started a new PC called Winter last night. Why? Well, I was bored to death. In the month or so that I actively played Lotus I did not even manage to get half-way to leveling even once, and of course, a 1st level bard heavy on CHA is not exactly an adventuring animal. I thought it would be fun to take my time and play an almost purely social creature, but in the end, it was boring me to death and I found myself making up excuses not to log on.

Sooooo ... I will try a new PC. There is no guarantee that what bored me to death was actually anything about Lotus - it could be that I am simply bored, either of ALFA or of online role-playing or of whatever. Who knows? Regardless, I am giving a new PC a shot and we will see how it goes. I has a sad though - as much as I was bored, I have as much emotional connection to Lotus as I did to Vellya and its hard to part ways. Of course, this is not a particularly good trend - my first ALFA PC made it to 14th level (16th if you count ECL) before I retired her. My second ALFA PC made it to 5th level before being retired, and my third made it only to ... 1st level before being retired. Extrapolation would suggest that this fourth character may either be the first one who gets killed, or, she should have been retired during the character generation process. Who knows? See y'all in game. Ciao.
ALFA1-NWN1: Sheyreiza Valakahsa
NWN2: Layla (aka Aliyah, Amira, Snake and others) and Vellya
NWN1-WD: Shein'n Valakasha
