At the moment no, everything really needs testing. However some of the dungeons i mentioned might be trickier to get to and offer more rewards as well.
There's a place I like to hide
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind

I know this was briefly mentioned in my orginal post but for the dungeons you may need some skills of some sort:
1) Old Keep dungeon near Ulgoth's beard:
You need a high charisma to get the key from an NPC in town.
2) Hilltop Ruins
Entrance is in the Helm and Cloak. You'll need some social skills and money to buy the key. You'll need a mage to get the door open or a fairly high UMD.
Should be more dungeons goodness in v1.01 : ) Also want to start adding more "character" to the server shortly.

As far as character goes, mind if spice up things in a tavern or two within Beregost (add NPCs and conversations?)
As far as NPCs/animals in the exterior of the town, will there be any planned other than merchants and some guards?

People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.

That would be lovely, something that definitely needs doing. Would earn you DM time or credit towards on house when we launch.paazin wrote:As far as character goes, mind if spice up things in a tavern or two within Beregost (add NPCs and conversations?)
*wipes a tear from his eye* I love open source stuff. Please edit as you like, send me detailed change logs and i'll get incorporated as fast as i'm able.
Not in the exteriors, but many more interiors planned. Actually i think the Tymora temple is in, but i forgot to put a map note.paazin wrote:As far as NPCs/animals in the exterior of the town, will there be any planned other than merchants and some guards?
If ya'll haven't noticed, you get extra stuff to do with NPC clerics if you are of their faith.

One thing I really enjoyed in the NWN1 Beregost (which I don't know if you'd plan on or not) was the sheep grazing on the hills above the town, near the ruins of Ulcaster.ayergo wrote:That would be lovely, something that definitely needs doing. It added to the quiet pastoral atmosphere of the town - I know it might not be the best use of resources, but just a thought.
As far as helping with the interiors, thanks - I'll mail you when I get some progress. As far as sourcebooks for the area go, I've got FRCS and Volo's guide... anything else?
