A Land Far Away

Hi there everyone, its good be a part of ALFA, I have been playing NWN2 for just over a year I think, and had NWN1 before that, this is also my first PW. So I'm hoping to see a good result . I think I might do either Baldur's Gate or the Silver Marches, I am leaning towards the latter at the moment. I also plan to play as a Ranger/Fighter wood elf. A little secluded, but enjoys making friends . So if any of you have any advice, bring it. I'm sure I'll need every bit of it.

You can have great fun on either, best advice might be to follow your instinct and be gregarious...get partied. Unlike in solo gaming, there is no pause button...well, it's still there, in fact, but it just doesn't do anything

As for advice: try to read up on Faerûnian Wood Elves. They can be a quirky lot.

To greatly enhance your chances of keeping your elf alive i'd recommend seeking out other PCs at some point; if you want to keep him from being an outgoing type I'd at least recommend looking for another wood elf on TSM named Sywyn (played by Keryn/Musharu). He's also looking to try to start an elven faction on TSM at some point.

They are indeed, very different from all other dnd elves. Currently all the links in the Player's Guide to ALFA section on elves link to sites that aren't applicable for 3.5e FR elves; for starters I would suggest checking this link specificly under the section marked Forgotten Realms Elves:

Thanks a lot for the advice, I will be sure to look him up. Sounds like a great idea, oh and my first elf already died, haha. Working on a moon elf now. Hopefully he will last a little longer..
