Of course, knock yourself out! Just don't wear yourself out.

That whole "good luck with the second"-thing is the traditional ALFA greeting/warning to remind new players we have permadeath servers. So don't go playing your favourite character or concept (if you have one) right off the bat. Or do, and accept the possible consequences...
