Hello from an old gamer

Hi Guys,
It’s been a long time and not sure if anyone here will remember me, I use to game here for 2 years and stopped around the start of 2007, my main character was Eldamar an elven mage but I had others like Quilen and Renjin,
Have been thinking about coming back recently as I missed the role play and the people I used to game with but I remember I used to have to stay up extremely late to get a good DMed session in and was wondering if there were any regular GMT time slots going at the moment as due to work I can no longer be up as late as I use to. I would have to reinstall the game and all the downloads or go out and get NWN2 so thought I would post here first.
To all the people I uses to RP with that are still about a big HELLO!

Welcome back!
You could still probably find a euro-based campaign in NWN if you asked around.
Our NWN2 Helmite player group is mostly europe based with playtimes "not too late" ((i'm us east but mostly play afternoons))
go get NWN2 and MotB and join the fun!

These guys are also euro for NWN1
Getting groups together with use of
www.neverwinterconnections.com has been successful as well.

Looks good, if I can find a regular group GMT time then I am well up for starting again.
I have got myself a copy of NWN2 all installed, looks a little different from 1

so I will get to grips with it before I log in.
Do I have to apply to game again and if not where do I get the password for the server, a lot has changed since I have been away

Hey man, welcome back. There's certainly game to be found here and there, as has been highlighted above, it's really an NWN1 "campaigns" world these days (i.e., log on for scheduled stuff with a group, though no one will stop you from wandering nearly empty servers in other hours).
Cheers

Once a member, still a member so long as you didn't get booted out

. If you can link to this page you're good to go.

Rather than starting a new thread with the same topic, I will now hijack ol' Spacemokie's thread.
Hi!
I just got a new computer which is able to run NWN2, first game I tried on it actually, and therefore I am looking to get back into the roleplaying business. I recognize a lot active members on this board. A few names are new to me, but I'm sure that most of you don't remember me very well since I didn't have much of an impact on the community as a whole.
I used to DM/build on Sembia during the NWN1 era, along side Electryc since he was active there almost the whole time I was there. Is he still around? I see that the old Sembia server is still up and running by the way. As a player I never had any character that made it past lvl 2 and tended to have my PCs travel a lot due to dips in activity during euro friendly hours.
Anyhow. If I understood correctly the ALFA2 servers, or whatever they are called, are running version 1.21 and have not yet incorporated the second NWN2 expansion. So what I need to do is to get a hold of the first expansion as well as download the haks. Anything else that is critical to get into ALFA again?

Welcome back! You are right that we are using v1.21 patch. With this patch you can actually play with either MotB installed, or the newer one, SoZ. In the next few weeks however we will be upgrading to v1.22 which will require the second expansion, SoZ. For the rest of the haks and pwc files visit the downloads page:

Maybe see you in game,

Who let him back in the door? Wasn't someone meant to have the locks changed after Hakkman left?
