A Land Far Away

Hi all. I consider it good manners for a new player to formally introduce themselves so here goes:
STM, stands for Steve The Monkey, long story.
Been rping for more years than I care to think about. Was a player/dm in NWN1 on a server called Earthspurs. Looking forward to seeing what ALFA has to offer. I miss the community feel from my old server and hope to find it here.

Welcome, hope you have fun in one or both of ALFA's NWN1 & NWN2 environments.

If choosing NWN2, check out the TSM forum for factions, times, whatever which might pique your interest. The #alfa channel as well.

If choosing NWN1, sniffing around the #alfa channel for "which servers have what campaigns / busy times" going is probably advisable. Picking one in four servers without this little investigation and hoping they are supportive of your times / concepts / etc. can sometimes lead to disappointment (dwarf without a classic dwarven community, or paladin among a bunch of evil jerks, etc.)

Thanks all. I'm having a problem getting into the game. Worldgate isn't working for me and when I try to dl the pwc file I get 94% of it then get a message saying that the file is corrupt. Any ideas?

What sort of error messages do you get from WorldGate?

Value of "2" is not valid for Value. Value should be between minimum and maximum.

I know others have gotten this message, so if anyone can help I'd appreciate it.
