For some unknown reason, they decided to let me loose on ALFA. :P

I look forward to seeing you all I.G... Has anyone got any suggestions for servers?

My first character will most likely be a Half-Orc, such is my stock-in-trade. Anyone got any good suggestions for places in the realms where a half-breed might get some good RP? :D

Such handsome chaps, they are, after all...

Welcome aboard.

As for locations for a half-orc, the further north the better, watch out for the Dalelands and Cormyr, they're not too friendly.

Well most of my Half-Orc characters tend to originate in or around Luskan. Are you allowed to start on the server that is 'Local' for your character? Or are you encouraged to start on a server that is further afield from your hometown?

You're certainly allowed to start there. Luskan is currently a Beta server, but will be Live fairly soon... You might want to hang around the Moonshaes/WD in the meantime to stay "close".

Hmm, I might just do that. I'll have to do a bit of research on the Moonshaes though, haven't read much about them. :P

Edit: Although Waterdeep sounds more likely for an Urban dwelling Half-Orc. :)

Welcome to ALFA. There's a half-orc community on Sembia and lots of players/DMs there too.

I was considering Sembia actually. Being right next door to The Vast/The Dragon Reach/The Moonsea would give me a chance to play a Greyskin Half-Orc. :P

That actually gives me an idea for a first character (I'm well aware of first character lifespan. :wink: ).

Once I've got the haks downloaded ( :shock: ) I think a rather grey individual might turn up in Sembia. :)
