Michael Vivenius
Michael Vivenius
Hey, just announcing my character I am using to apply with. My intent was to make one that was not really all that heroic, just a supporting character for whatever party he finds himself in. His background is simple, the son of a middle class landowner, recieved a minor education and server in the city guard a few years, before his mother died of blood poisoning. Traveled to Tervale shortly after to send word to her family, and is now just deciding wether or not he wishes to return to the small township outside Waterdeep that he was raised at.
Nothing dramatic, he is not a great hero or even all that brave...though he swings a sword when needed. Let's just say he is not the first one into the breach, or the last. He has not seen that much of the world, so he is somewhat ignorant about much of the Forgotten Realms, most of his life was spent either farming or tossing the occasional drunk out of the local watering holes.
Feel free to ask any questions if anyone has any, but he is not the sort of character who is meant to be the main character in a tale, but the kind who gets caught up in someone elses tale.

Sounds promising- and a good tack to take for starting out in ALFA, where occationally things have taken their own turn since the FRCS. There is a lot to be said for having simple beginnings- should he later rise to any level of prominence, it will feel all the more satisfying for seeing him though the transition.
Good luck with the application- sounds like you are well suited for ALFA!

Pfft...how do you expect to get ahead with that attitude? To succeed in ALFA, you must have a desire to dominate every party in which you find yourself a member.Michael wrote: My intent was to make one that was not really all that heroic, just a supporting character for whatever party he finds himself in.
*goes off to play his blind hin girl*
Seriously, welcome to ALFA! Good luck with the application and hope to see you in game.

Talk less. Listen more.

Hey Michael!
Seen you Rp a bit last week in the cemetary, and all I have to say is don't give up! You rped very well your first encounters with undead and I'm sure you'll be accepted in no time..
In the meantime, have fun on the OAS and a DM will hand you the LIVE password before you know it!

Alas, Michael Vivenius met his end at the hands of a thief in a dark alley, last night in Waterdeep. Fell for the oldest trick in the books, he did, and went to pick up some items left on the ground, when a thief sprang out of nowhere and knifed him to death. He had just been accepted to the city watch, and died in the line of duty as an auxiliiary watchman. Ha ha, it was fun, I hope my next character is as much so.
