Introducing myself into ALFA world

Post by Dancing Chameleon »

Greetings to all ALFA citizens! I was accepted 16 november, but only now i was managed to finally download and install all the necessary files, plus to reinstall the game (due to computer problems)

Because i was accepted by written application, i think, it will be better for me to start playing from OAS, just to fit myself into the ALFA world (it was a pity i did not find OAS in the list of servers, it just evaporated. It was 2 a.m. by GMT +3).
Of course, i have read all the guides (RP guide was very helpful), but still i am not good with all the chat thigs, emotions, etc. Need some experience (never played NWN online).

My time is GMT +3

Never mind mate.

Just rememeer to go:

*he hoists his friends corpse onto his shoulders* Damn ye be heavy!

And you'll be fine:)

Dont have the emote obvious things like if you toon stands fro a sitting position, dont need to say *stands*

If you have to say anything Oout of Character (OOC) just go ((um, high guys, i'm new to alfa))...or better yet, change from [talk] to [tell] and speak to someone that way.

This was my first online game as well....once you get the hang (and people will help) it's fun. :D

HAve fun!

Huge welcome! I'm one of the many wandering the OAS, and would be more than happy to pass along the helpful tidbits I've gleened from my interactions. My PC is Dae'din, so don't be shy if you see him (unless of course your staying incharacter  ).

Phew!
Now i have made it! Finally i acquired a new copy of Hordes of Underdark, and now have all the 3 keys! 5 months of waiting - and - now it is all over!

I have already logged into OAS, too bad there was no one there... But, still, i am just learning the game mechanics etc, cause i am new to NWN multiplayer. Hope i will be able to visit the upcoming RP classes.

Welcome. Beats me if you were one of the trio I saw on this morning (on OAS), but regardless, have fun.

Especially since you're accepted, AND have the Haks, you might find playing on Live a little more fun, quite soon... since the people you brush up against may well have been playing their PCs for many months, have a lot of interesting tales to tell. Harder to achieve on the OAS ("Um, I picked some berries then got jumped by goblins" is, absent participation in a DM'd adventure and sharing the tale, common tavern talk).
ALFA NWN2 PCs: Rhaggot of the Bruised-Eye, and Bamshogbo
ALFA NWN1 PC: Jacobim Foxmantle
ALFA NWN1 Dead PC: Jon Shieldjack
