Veni, ludi, vici! - Ludo

Hey, I just got accepted! I almost introduced myself this morning, but I guess I'm glad I waited. I'm Ludo, which means 'I play' in Latin. I am not a fuzzy thing that calls rocks. Wynna said if I called rocks on Alfa, specifically interesting rocks like sapphires and emeralds, I would violate the max wealth standards. I am not a silly board game something like parcheesi. And please don't quote Cicero to me - my Latin dictionary's in the bottom of a packing box.
I'm planning to play a cleric from Silverymoon, whether or not I wind up playing there. I spent all day finding free info on Silverymoon, since I don't have the FR books and don't want to buy them. I haven't had a chance to read what I found, though. So if a clumsy cleric bumps into you in Silvermoon with a half-formed backstory, it's probably me. For those who play on OAS, I'm Teri Neri there, but I'm not bringing her to ALFA.
Thanks to all you players, DMs and chatters who have helped me. Note that I haven't stopped needing help. Lurue bless you all.
I'm a goblin scout? Ludo

I just read my own message. I'm not a goblin scout, though that's not a bad idea.

Cynon and Tyr

Cynon, I assure you I could not follow the way of Tyr. Good is good, protection is good, but all that law! I couldn't breathe. And I mean the player, not just the character.
I follow Lurue, not so much because she loves animals, but because she understands that we need the freedom to behave inconsistently.
And what does that mysterious avatar of yours have written all over it?

lol. smooth talking there.
You sound like you'd fit right in with the elves down on TLR. That is the server directly south of the silver marches.
(my god i can't believe i'm plugging those guys

)
P.S. the avatar says: I'm a creepy pervert

To Vendrin, J.Madison, IDStewart, darrenhfx, and HDB, thanks for the welcomes. I really feel thoroughly welcomed, from all wings.
To LBaeldeth, Wynna and Aerthrin, the above plus thanks for all your help. Ludo will be my username, and thanks for bearing with all the confusion about that. I don't know what my first alfan character name will be yet. The character will be like Teri would be if she had grown up in Silverymoon, which may be quite different from the Teri Neri you know and love on OAS. I haven't yet read all the background material.
The main thing I'm waiting for, though, is the haks. Six plus hours of download or wait for a CD to come in the mail. I don't know which choice would be more frustrating. I'm planning to start in Silverymoon, possibly move to Waterdeep later if my cleric survives Silverymoon. If she doesn't, Silverymoon looks like a good place to start a bard. Bard is my preferred RP class.
To Cynon, thanks for the comments and compliments. I'll keep your advice about the elves in mind. Some creepy perverts are sorta fun to learn from. Evil? I'll judge that for myself.

Weclome Ludo, perhaps we'll bump into each other on TSM.
