The Masked Cudgel

Post by Mozinwrath »

Hello ALFA! Mozinwrath checking in from Wisconsin. Ive played a lot of MMOs,and done pen & paper RPGs on and off all my life (even DMing a few). Im looking forward to playing with yall, and even had a character killed on OAS already! (to a rat no less, ugh). I want to take this chance to say congrats and thank you for all the obviously hard work that went into making a persistent Forgotten Realms world. It looks and feels awesome! (and thats just on OAS). Im actually scared to go anywhere, lol.
Anywho, thanks for having me and keep up the good work!

Note: The Masked Cudgel is what happens when your Scorpion Clan character becomes inactive and the GM uses him for an oni 2-handed weapon!

Hello there. Good luck with your second (or should I say third by now? ) character!

Yes,I had a run of bad luck with characters so far. The last one ( a wizard) had a shelf life of roughly an hour. So I have written him a poem in memory of the shortest lifespan Ive ever had in a game.

" There once was a wizard from Amn,who walked the plains at dawn.
Not seeing the boar,he walked on some more
and now he lies dead on the lawn."

At any rate, Ive learned to slow down and take my time. Hopefully I can slow down enough to give my current victim a longer lifespan.

Hang in there. Make friends. Lifespan is usually proportional to the number of friends you make in game. :)
Talk less. Listen more.
