Thorak (still waiting admin! )

A normal evening in dirks. a few locals gather for drink and smoke in the tavern.
Thorak heads to his usuall seat. He drinks an ale and glances at Elias remembering their
fight in front of the gate. " Come sit with us master dwarf." Thorak looks over at the
table and reluctantly comes to join the gathering.

<d> my broder sees meh associating wit deh long leggers and he'll have meh head.. he says.
The humans glance at each other not understanding the dwarven tongue and shrug continuing
their conversation. A while passes, and Elias throws out a remark about their scuffle.

DATS IT! LETS HAVE ER OUT YEH NOODLE LEGGED MULE SLAPPER..! Thorak yells startling the
others at the table. Out in deh forest, so none a yer lil farkin guard wenchys dun try
shootin meh in deh back like last time...aye! *he grunts*

They venture out into the woods where none but a single bear are in witness. Come at meh
yeh farkin wanker..! Thorak shouts at the grinning Elias as he charges in with fists drawn.

Elias takes the first shot square in the jaw which rattles the young fighter. Then charging
in himself, he throws five quick punches and Thorak falls back holding his nose. He shakes
his head and stands slowly looking annoyed and dazed. Yeh fight like un dwarf lad....good
on yeh, *he grunts* yeh earned meh respect yeh farker..! *he says stumbling a bit*
Oi buys yeh un ale lad... they head back to the tavern. Thorak buys ale for them and
sits adjusting his broken nose *crunch crunch* ah dats betta.. Elias cringes as he pops
the cork on his ale with his teeth. Thorak pops the cork on his ale and raises his bottle,
Teh the victor... he says as they cheers. Nothing like un good fight teh start deh day.

The day breaks the horizon. The human and dwarf still sit at the table talking. So what brings
you to these parts dwarven...? Elias asks. Oi dunny knows lad. Oi beh walkin in deh
woodland and next oi knows meh lights went oot! Meh wakes up wit un bump deh size O un
melon on meh head and un great headache.. an outside at dat, just over dere
*he motions towards the direction of the front gate* Elias nods. Where are you from?
Elias asks... Oi's from deh region O narfell, but oi's born'd in deh northern mountians O
Thay. Place called Fraazummidin in middledark. Un a three broders. You have three brothers?
says Elias sluging on his ale. Aye. We beh some of deh few dat escaped deh great raids.
We spread out sos deh Thayian people nae find us.

Tell me of the Thayians Elias asks looking interested. *Thorak stares at the table with fury
in his eyes* Suddenly at the mention of the people of Thay, thorak Bursts out "MURDERERS"!
he tears up slightly hitting the table with his fist.. ( rolled str = 21) *CRUNCH*
Elias leans back slightly staring down at the deep dent in the table.. Humans an elfys
from Thay, dey raided meh homelands killin ana Duergar dat came wit in dere paths... *a single
tear rolls down the enraged dwarfs face* FER NOTHIN.....*Thorak stares at Elias* cause a
rummors spread by deh likes a YOU..! *Thorak points at Elias* Humans.......*he pauses with a
big sigh* dey kilt meh clansmen....kilt meh familys an meh friends. meh and meh broders
fights our way out, escaped wit our lives but lil else.. *thorak finishes his ale and tosses
the bottle over his shoulder shattering it* Elias sits back in his seat in slight shock from
the story Thorak tells... Thats where his hatred for humans and elfs comes from, Elias says
to himself rubbing his chin. huh.? *thorak looks at him* Nothing nothing...

They are comming here...says Elias *thorak looks at him* it is Lord Victor's....(spelling?)
plan. Elias says drinking his ale.. *Thorak thinks a moment* oi tend teh rally meh kin lad,
but seems kin in dis area all beh nancy arses.! says Thorak. Dey all hangin round ye farkin
humans an elfys aye... *Elias grins* Yes i have noticed the dwarven are a bit soft in these parts.
he says, *the two stand and pause looking at each other seeming slightly tense*, the tavern goes
almost slient as patrons across the room look over to see the human and dwarf staring at each
other sliently... We arn't all like those who attacked your kinsmen dwarven. Thorak stares at
him for a moment then offers a hand. We'll see lad... Thorak says as they shake hands. we'll
see.. He wanders down the hall rubbing his nose and disappears from sight.

Elias sits back in his chair and sighs deeply. "what a day.."

Hmm, still stuck in OAS? Hopefully we can get you some more DM time and get you into live. I have played with you quite a bit with Khana (RIP) but haven't been on the last week or so. Stick with it and you will be in soon enough I have no doubts. Oh, and sometimes acceptence letters get sent to junk mail folder mine did...
