A Land Far Away

Hello everyone! Used to play Nwn1 ALFA Shadowdale and had a short journey into Nwn2 a few years ago. Had a son in the meantime which took me away from computer...as he reaches human son level 2 in two weeks I'll be able to play once a week or so...or so I hope :p Until he reaches lvl10 and we got ourselves into some PnP So here I am, on Moonshae Isles, Oman to be precise, with an ambitious cleric of Tempus northman! Hope to find pals to get along in some Northmen RP and some DM love to guide the whole thing! I'm gmt+2 as I write those lines. Can play on friday, saturday or sunday (but not the three of them as War department as I like to call my fair lady would't appreciate) evening from 7pm to 10pm gmt time. Welcome back to ALFA man, I do recall seeing you around before. I hang out on MS a fair bit myself, and we got DMs on MS who I am sure would appreciate having another player to work their machinations on eh. In fact, if you're good for Fridays maybe theres a potential for a group forming.

Yep! I can be online 3 fridays per month since I work "only" one saturday per month. Again, I can be on from 9pm gmt+2 onward can try 8:30 depending on son willing to go to bed...or not... :p

Side question: is there any "safe" static quest on Oman isle please?

Moonshaes is still a little light on statics; there's an effort to build that out some, but you'll find that a lot of the adventure is self-made and thus dangerous.

You could probably find some fancy people in fancy places like... castles... and see if they have menial tasks for the unwashed peasants (read: everyone else) to do. Otherwise, it's probably a trip to Baldur's Gate or The Silver Marches, or trying to charm one of the DMs. If you're Euro time, maybe look for Orangetree?

there is no safe static on Oman's isle. It's best to head to the capital Caer Callidyrr and try the safer mail quest. There is also a small fetch quest in Lyrrath forest due south of Koart, but don't go past the woodsman's hut. The IC warnings given by NPCs on MS are real. That includes some of the mail destinations.

I would not walk off road with a level 1, but that goes for any server really. Best if you hook up with an MS DM for a few sessions to get you past the level 1-2 hump.
