Welcome back Fionn. On FB you mentioned you were looking for a group that plays Wed evenings PST. Our un-faction faction comprised of Calishite Expatriates (no common religion, no fanaticism towards anything) plays most evenings PST (typically around 7:30 or 8 PM PST to midnight PST or later). We are probably on together 3 or 4 nights a week, and at least a couple of us are on almost every evening. The only thing our crew really have in common is that they are all Calishite, one way or another (three humans, a genasi, a hin, and a half-elf right now, with another genasi possibly on the way).

Group alignment is not Lawful, and not Good. We have neutrals, we have chaotics, and we have evils, in a variety of combinations. In short, we are a bunch of low-life foreign (to Baldur's Gate/TSM) sellsword cut-throats.

On the plus side, we laugh a LOT with these PCs. Our PCs smoke opium, drink habitually, have sex, get involved in ill-advised and poorly handled love-affairs, and regularly pick on other people just for fun. Basically, its high-school with swords.

Nice Mikayla - my concern was more the downside of playtime meets metagaming. I spent far too many nights sitting in a bar waiting to figure out where the party had gone to while I was logged off (or occasionally IC knowing, but not being able to safely travel there). I can't do 4 nights a week anymore unfortunately.

Never fear Fionn - ALFA allows people to get their PCs together via tells - says so right on the splash pages sometimes when you're between areas. Of course, it also says ALFA only allows one PC . . .

Anyway, there have been a few changes. Generally, hooking up with your party is not a problem so long as you have a party to hook up with. Finding a DM is a bit more challenging, but we're doing OK in that regard. Lots of drama still going on in game (and for me, its kind of a first - more drama in-game than out).

WB Fionn. It is not hard to meet up in game I wouldn't say... the servers are smaller than in NWN1, where you'd say to yourself in Shadowdale "I need to start this walk at sunup and finish at sundown or I will be eaten by night time drow on roads." Hop in and find game if you can.
