Salutations and hello
Hello all, I was recently accepted and have been leaving corpses in world ever sense. The world is fun, if not slightly deadly. RP has been the best part so far, and if you meet an orcish bard that is begging for coin for a song be kind, tis but a copper.

Welcome aboard, matey! I look forward to seeing you IG
Maybe your halforc should go sing and dance for the orcs in the caves? They may not be put off by his tusks and musk

Welcome! Don't be afraid to send tells in game if looking to meet up for roleplay meet n' greet type stuff (though our player chat interface, you will have to know that a # in front of a name will send a cross server tell, vs. a normal /t within server. So if saying "hi" to someone on your own server, sure you might easily meet up for a beer (or a song?), a "hi" to a #/t guy, little harder!

Hail and well met!
As those nice people said, don't hesitate to ask if you need anything, either in game via tells, in irc-chat, or via board PMs.
I wish you a fun and entertaining time here, and hope to meet you in game at some point!
Cheers,

Welcome aboard. Have fun and be fun!

Re: Salutations and hello
Ah, you see the problem here was that I didn't get in fast enough to wish you the best of luck with your first character. Shame that. Anyway, willkommen!

Aye the bard be long dead. Killed by dire badgers as he was walking along singing his songs... the world is fantastic and I am loving it.
Re: Salutations and hello
Ha ha.
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
May this bard's spirit never rust.
Hello all, I am fresh meat as well.. Based on this insight, I guess I'll experiment a bit before trying to model a "perfect" character!
Question about the IG chatting. Can I /say or /tell or /t any of you by your forum nicknames?
I look forward to interacting with you all IG!

Welcome!
Re: Salutations and hello
Alas not. In-game chat works by player GSID. The rather funky in-game, cross-server player chat box majigger will list all character names for /tell (or #tell if you want to talk to someone on another server); tiz very clever, even if it does get a bit muddled from time to time (fixed by expanding then collapsing the chat box).dshavoc wrote:Question about the IG chatting. Re: Salutations and hello
It shouldn't get muddled anymore once 1.86 gets released.
