Game on euro Mon/Wed evenings?

Greetings, fellow gamers. This is a reliable and handsome roleplayer, with an appropriately nerdy sense of humor, but a rather busy schedule, looking for like-minded company...

I've been keeping my RP head down for awhile and am now looking to get back to a virtual gaming table. The thing is that my time is now rather restricted compared to what I could do when I was playing, DMing, building and scripting over Exodus-side. (Albeit the latter two were more dabbling.) But not to despair, I am hoping some way somewhere I could get involved, perhaps even tangled, in a weekly session of fun and games.

I am trying to schedule a gaming session on Mondays or Wednesdays on euro evenings. Since I don't presume to catch much game as a player with such a restricted timeframe, I am also willing to set up the table as the DM. But therein lies the catch: I'd much rather play to get to know a gameworld before I try to step into the boots that are supposed to run and rule said gameworld.

So I'm asking what's the current buzz around here on euro evenings? Is there a group and table already active that I could join for the funs?

And if there's no group, where and who are the scattered euro-players? Where could we set up a table for us? Currently I'm trying on a Wednesday evening time to DM on Amn, but I'm not yet convinced that's necessarily the best option. For reasons I won't dwell down here and now.

Darkmystic, deviant, Matti, Dusk13, aswell as Boombrakh and Edgar. would be fun to come up with something regular. for now, i think most of us is at BG

BG might be your best bet for GMT evenings. It therefore follows true to form that as I'm also an evening GMTer I'm based on MS. I'm not sure how that happened either.

While I am in the US, my play times parallel euro evenings. (I go to bed early . Mostly I am on MS but have been spending more time on BG of late.

Well I guess in the end the only way to get a feel of the various options where to set the virtual table at would be to try it out...

TSM seems to have a couple of weekly euro timeslots for the weekends. Is there a difference on the feel of the settings and the people gravitated therein? I guess I am more looking for grey, gritty and low on epic than fantastically pure magical white knights in shiny armors.

TSM is probably the most 'high magic' server of them all and was very often all about shiny people high-magicking their way across the realm when I was there. Pinch of salt: This was a year ago and there were far fewer active DMs waddling around at that time.

At american times that's probably accurate, but at euro and aussie times, you'd find a different game, and different characters, on TSM - at least when I was still active!

There certainly are people into medieval realism in TSM's player and DM camp, but it always depends on whom you end up with.

Aaand I guess I got it wrong, it's MS with Trid and Rorax on weekends, if that's current info anyway. And according to a chat we had, Kid is on MS on many euro evenings.

Ergo, I'll roll a PC on MS, and see about setting a DM screen over at BG. Time will tell how it works out, and whether I'll end up running the DMage at BG or Amn.

Here's to hoping to meet up some friends, old and new, for the games.
