Afternoon all (or whatever time it may be where you reside),
Just wanted to say thanks for having me and I'm looking forward to being an active member of ALFA. I've played D&D on tabletop for roughly 10 years now, mostly 3.0 and 3.5 with an early smattering of AD&D (THACO and AC in this edition are the most counter intuitive things ever created). I love to write and was an English major in college, and I channel that passion into trying to come up with involved campaigns for friends and simply by writing poetry and prose for the sake of writing. As I stated in my application, I tend to lean more toward playing goodly aligned characters though I've run the full range of characters and alignments over the years in my role play.
My two favorite characters I ever got to play were a paladin who got to martyr himself to save his party from certain death and a chaotic neutral wizard transmuter who liked to sculpt and paint (and would regularly be doing these things much to the annoyance of his party) and found himself drawn to giving things "a more artistic form," either via polymorph or flesh to stone.
Anyway, I'm excited to be a part of ALFA and hoping to find a good group to run with. I'm in the United States, East Coast time zone if that makes any difference. Thanks for having me aboard!
