Well, I am not a new player but I didn't want to fill the other forums with more stuff it didn't need.

Hi, how has everyone been, not sure if anyone remembers me.

I see the new BG server is up and it seems very appealing. Can anyone give me a run down of what is going on there and what the player base is like? I would like to start up a new character and will base my decision of his direction on whats common/uncommon there or what rolls are or aren't filled...

I can't tell you much about current BG affairs...though I hear there's a rather distinct shortage of "good" guys there just now

I would say PM jmecha, Dirsa, BRM, OGR, or Mr Duncan if you want an overveiw of current affairs. But you could just as easily roll-up and plunge in...I imagine you'll get another chance to re-roll soon

Oh cmon now, don't be jinxing me already. Already been through 3 characters who never got past level 2. Maybe... level 2 is just a myth!

And what is this I hear about now where you au...aut...automatically download the server files??? Is there seriously no more accidentally patching then downpatching then downloading and installing and repatching and redownloading after you accidentally patched again?
