There's no reason why somebody who's evil can't be a charming, loveable bastard, who everybody admires but isn't about to emulate, either. I see a lot of chars assume "evil = antisocial meth-head," and while that's definitely a subset, it's certainly not the whole Taco of Evil(tm).
