Now I am by no means a "new" player, but I have yet to play NWN2 at all. Can anyone suggest which of our current servers would best serve a complete NWN2 n00b?
I'm looking for a relatively regular DM schedule and a good density of players. Not sure what timezone I'll be playing in yet and timezone is likely flexible (ie, i'll be more tempted to try and play when players/dms are mostly on)
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Well, given that campaigns are what you're asking for, it'd probably be best to just look for DMs.
I know that Trid (MS) and Paazin (BG) are DMing regularly, and DMing evil. I don't have the best information on Cloud's (MS) group, but she's been DMing for a while. Haven't heard much from Ksiel (BG), but he had a weekly session for a while when I heard last. Thinkpig (TSM) DMs a lot of the goodies on weekends, and MaxBogs (TSM) wasn't running anything scheduled, but had absurdly-frequent ad hoc sessions before he had to take a couple weeks' haitus for RL. kmj (TSM) was talking about getting back into DMing, but I'm not sure if anything came of that, and rumors are that Viigas' (TSM) DMing is gunning for a conclusion, which might mean an easy opportunity to join or a soon-to-be empty timeslot; you'd have to talk to the guy.
In terms of player density, every server posts numbers on almost every U.S. evening. MS has the best density in Euro times with TSM as runner up. I'm to understand that Aussie times are pretty sparse all around, but those times are also times when I'm usually asleep, so I'd defer to those who'd be awake and alert (Swift?) around those times.
In terms of static content, BG is winning on repeatable content, and TSM is winning on raw volume of the content.
In terms of noob friendliness, all three servers contain static spawns that can murder all but about four live PCs without any indication that the ground trod upon is dangerous, until one is getting murdered. I'd suggest getting that information from other PCs, wherever you start.

From what I've seen of BG and TSM the times listed on the google calendars are accurate (which is good, because google calendar is win): http://www.alandfaraway.org/servers
I DM sporadically on BG, though won't do anything significant my PC situation is sorted (as it is I crash pretty often and toolsetting is painfully slow).
