Is a kukri considered an exotic weapon?

Post by Mirabai »

Thought I would get this one straight before I built a character. Anyone know?

Thanks, and hello, btw :-)

Hiya Mirabai. I believe it's set as whatever is the NWN2 default, which is martial.

You can always create a dummy character just to test your 'build' tweak it appropriately and then create your actual character.
People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.

Hello, welcome to ALFA. Good luck with your second knife.

As paazin stated correctly, the game engine deems the kukri to be a martial weapon, and there's no ALFA rule countering that. I would point out though that the module builders usually think of them as pretty exotic, and getting your hands on one might require checking out several merchants.
