Sky Domes

To add a custom skydome to an area:

From Area Properties, open up Day/Night Cycle Stages, then the time of day (or just use Default) section. In the SkyDomeModel field, type the name of the skydome you want.

The basic NWN2/MotB/SoZ package includes 4 skydomes:
  • fx_skydome_generic
    fx_skydome_nx2lobby
    fx_skydome_shipwreck
    fx_skydome_stormy
The ALFA effects hak includes 2 skydomes from the RWS Underwater placeable set:
  • fx_skydome_sea
    fx_skydome_sea2
... and 11 skydomes from the "skydomes by Hoegebo" hak set:
  • fx_skydome_tdm1
    fx_skydome_tdm2
    fx_skydome_tdm3
    fx_skydome_tdm4
    fx_skydome_tdm5
    fx_skydome_tdm6
    fx_skydome_tdm7
    fx_skydome_tdm8
    fx_skydome_tdm9
    fx_skydome_tdm10
    fx_skydome_tdm11
Note: Skydomes do not seem to show in the Toolset. Day/night lighting settings can change the appearance of skydomes also.
