Mousescrolling via Trackball or Keyboard (zoom in/out)

Post by White Warlock »

Mousescrolling is a necessary tool for the toolset, but many mice and trackballs do not have one. Here's some solutions:

* For Logitech Marble Trackball users - download this utility ( http://www.simans.net/marble/ )to allow your Marble's 3rd button to function like a mousewheel (a necessary tool for zooming in/out in the toolset). I understand it works for other trackballs that do not have a mousewheel, but no guarantees.

Note: if you are using Logitech's SetPoint, the instructions presented on the page here is close, but not quite right. You don't have to set your fourth button to generic, and i don't recommend it. Leave it as universal scroll, since it is a useful tool when playing or DMing (for auto-multiselect).

* For keyboard control of your camera in the toolset, download this NWN2 plugin -- http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=NW ... tail&id=12 .

For instructions on how to setup your keys to control the camera, ask and i'll provide a walkthrough.
