Conversation Cameras

I'm unable to choose the camera angle for each conversation line because my camera settings don't appear to be attached to my camera settings slot on the node tab. I get no choices when clicking on Camera Settings, and it's set to a default value of "Random". The camera settings description appears when I click on the next line, which happens to be for Animations.
I'm'a thinkin' that sumpthin's wrong with the conversation controls on the node tab.

OK, figured it out. Still can't use the camera angles seemingly built in to the default conversation camera, but I can create a static camera and put it where I want it, then choose it in the Mode field of the Node tab.

I don't have any help for you, but do know ahead of time that the conversation cameras are a gigantic pain in the ass. You should be absolutely sure you want to use them before you get too far into it.

You mean the static camera? It seemed pretty simple to place, angle and use. Why are they a pain in the arse?

Just secondhand knowledge on my part, complaints from OE peeplz about how some of the areas in the OC took twice as long to build as they should have because of all the time wasted in setting up the cinematic cameras. They were advising people to avoid using them unless they really, really needed to and knew what they were getting into first. If they worked out easily for you though, then nothing to worry about.

Camera setup for cutscenes is a PITA.
