Okay, so I'm trying to do an interior fountain for my watchful monks to gather round and talk and meditate. The fountain is the placeable named aptly ...fountain. The fountain actually has three different rings for water. the effect I want is different levels of water....ie one rings water level higher than another. I have yet to find a way to make this happen, nor do I know if this is even possible at this stage in the game...perhaps this is what indio used for his waterfall/river? Anyway...any suggestions or hints would be much appreciated...otherwise I'll just go with one level of water.

For the fountain, if you get the water height just right, you can actually fill the first and second tier (well, the second isn't full, but it has water). There is then a circular cascading water fountain FX that can be resized and placed in the top tier, to make a believable effect. (more later)
As for the bucket, only one water height is allowed per megatile, so unless you run the bucket to another tile, it sadly won't be possible to have the two together. I'm not sure if ALFA has the capability, but perhaps retint a pool of blood placeable and make it an environmental object inside the bucket. That would work better than rippling water anyway.
Remember that for interior water to be visible outside of the toolset, a light source has to touch it. (even if it's just a white light at 0.01 strength)

Here's a screen - I turned the water blue-blue so you can see the height. I could have made it even higher, actually. The most annoying thing about fountain water is that things are painted in triangles - so fitting the water into a round fountain without edges is almost impossible.
The FX is "Waterfall Splash {01 (X1)}", resize it so it looks less like a ripple and more like a fountain.

thanks for the alternative Ork, I did a fountain pretty much like the one you've exampled for the oas back when, I wasn't sure if our capability had finally caught up in this area or not....guess not. Good use of the fx, I think I used varrying hieghted water spouts for my original fountain. Once again sir, my thanks!
