When creating custom items...

Post by Vendrin »

To be imported into one of the ALFA servers, what should we create the blueprints under All, Global, Module, or Campaign? Does it matter?

With little exception, the items you make will be on the "Module" list- that indicates that they exist as a copy specific to the module. The "campaign" section is a higher level of organization, designed to make resources needed in multiple modules available to each- this is designed with something like the original campaign, where each part of the story is a module, and one gets unloaded before the next as you PC (or party) progresses to the next part of the campaign. It's basically so you don't have to have separate copies of all the same blueprints needed in each of the subparts of a campaign.

I haven't been able to come up with any way to make Campaign resources useful to us. Just tool the item, it will come up as a module resource (and also be listed in Bold under All, since that's a collective heading).
