It’s not the critic who counts...The credit belongs to the man who actually is in the arena, who strives violently, who errs and comes up short again and again...who if he wins, knows the triumph of high achievement, but who if he fails, fails while daring greatly.-T. Roosevelt

Re: Dungeon Crawl
Not sure why Causk didn't post here (people do need to make plans, sometimes it helps to communicate clearly and schedule ahead of time as much as possible), but he said in irc Friday would work; I'm assuming regular time..
Thought I'd share this episode of OOTS in case you haven't seen it; it's fun and kind of reminds me of our dilemma (although ours is worse) dealing with these damned invulnerable constructs.

Re: Dungeon Crawl
Gah. Can't do our regular slot.
Tried dodging it but... My mom won the Jewish guilt roll, and i'm forced to go to another big happy family dinner.
people won awards for things, someone has something... I don't know.
Anyways:
I'll be here three hours past our regular time, if you guys are still around.
And will be ready to play for 3-4 hours at least.

Fine with me. We can do something shorter than usual if need be.

Re: Dungeon Crawl
I've got flexibility today but I'd prefer to know ahead of time so I can try to schedule my day accordingly. I guess we need to hear whether Causk can do a later time slot?
[edit]Causk sounds like he's available later. I'll plan on logging in in a few hours.

Re: Dungeon Crawl
Quick rules question for DM
http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/darkness.htm
Darkness is supposed to be 10 minutes/lvl in 3.5e; unmodded NWN of course, has little use for spells that might be useful outside of combat and set duration at 1 ROUND/lvl (probably legacy from NWN1 days when Darkness plus 'Ultravision' combo could get you some ridiculous results vs AI mobs). Could the spell be ruled for RP purposes as lasting a longer duration/castable on an object as per 3.5e?
Same question applies to Silence I suppose, though 3.5e Silence is only a minute/lvl not 10 minute/lvl.

Re: Dungeon Crawl
Just FYI Dergon's availability this weekend seems to be
which is 3 hours earlier than the usual starting time and possibly a little too early for me to be coherent on a weekend morning; if we start at the usual time it'd mean he's available for about 3 hours or so. I could start an hour (maybe 2) earlier if need be, if it helps move things forward.Could maybe play Saturday morning 8am -2pm or so US east --- and maybe Sunday morning same times -- but that's about it for the coming week

Re: Dungeon Crawl
Thanks for checking Ith.
I'm fine with either.

Re: Dungeon Crawl
fine with either too, from the time management perspective should try early, not sure we will make much progress within 3 hours.
