Recruiting Players: MS as open server

Regas, Curm and I have been kicking around opening MS w/o a password for say a month, to recruit more players

We'll want regular players on to give feedback and adventure with people. Probably folks from admissions will be around also. This will be in addition to our regular DM crew.

Who can we count on?

I can think of one way I could help; play on MS.

This would be awesome. Most likely we will use lvl 1-3 temp PCs for it, so start thinking of concepts now.

Zyrus is still about, though I may server hop soon for a couple things. I doubt you'd want a higher level in with new people though. I might consider a temp alt PC for playing with anyone if allowed.

If allowed to have a temp second PC on MS sure, I can dedicate a couple of hours a week at least to it. It's not a bad idea.

I could put a few hours in if I see folks with strange names lingering online at Euro-friendly times; also, if there is to be conducive scheduling then I'll make the effort to be around. As much as I've tried to avoid levelling Tam over the years (stopping at 6th would have been ideal) she's is now too high-a-level to take part in lowbie stuff without ruining it for both players and DMs but I'd still like to bump into new folk outside of said DM'd events. Can't have newbies pottering around and not have them bump into at least one of MS's resident Druidly wingnuts, eh.

I'd be very happy to have you as a DM, please put in an application, which I will hold until this happens.

I'd probably play this when it happens.

I'm level 2, so I will happily spy on the invaders.

I can DM or play as needed. if we have enough players for a decent group, sign me up for DMing for the duration.

I cannot be counted on. But I'll try to give acte de présence.

Same here.

If I attempt a login at all, and i see MS players on... i'll bounce in for a drunken brawl or two.

Please note that MS will not show as populated on the website applet during the "open server" period. Your history tab in the NWN2 client will show it properly, as will Zelknolf's handy application, linked in the main discussion forum:

Probably a good idea to be on the lookout for 1/30 or 2/30 that might be new prospective members checking the place out; also best not to join with "that loner/serial killer PC concept you've been thinking about" in that case.
