Immersive Ship Transit

One of the "suckiest" parts of the MS server has been its internal transit system - something that was left on the to do list far too long (we had been waiting on a waterborne overland map with moving ships and other cool stuff)

So,Waterdeep harbor travel aside...we've been instant porting people all over the place via NPCs.

No longer! 3 routes are being converted into ships you can stay on for as long or as short of a ride as you like. There is also the possibility for DM'd encounters at sea w/o having to move the PCs to our "generic ship areas" as in the past.

We will move over the other routes soon to the new system after testing out the look and feel in game for a bit.

This is cool. Ship to ship combat next and then I can invest points in Profession: Pirate.
