Re: StephenUmf (Discover) Events
Plan on logging in early to try and get some planning/recapping/comparing notes etc done; always extra helpful especially after some time off. Would be awesome if we could try and get a hold of a scroll or two of Death Ward as well one way or another.
btw,
btw,
Planning on going to check this out at some point (if server hasn't reset), anyone (player or DM) interested in participating?Rumors- Hammerstaad: Frost Giants have been ranging down the mountains out of the Giantspines.

Adrian could be there I guess, suppose everyone could use someone to stand watch over the ship, horses, their drinks back at the tavern, whatever.

This will be an everyone event. Please come out.
Balkr learned a great deal IG before I left for my trip. Hopefully, we can build off of that.

Re: StephenUmf (Discover) Events
Happy Friday! Happy Spring!
The show will continue tonight - 10 PM to 1 AM (East Coast US Time Zone). As a reminder, this is an all play night however combat encounters will quickly advance to the mid/higher levels in the group. For my sanity, please post here if you are going to be around.
And in keeping with tradition, here is the weather report. Spring arrived here a day late, but it did arrive! We were beginning to question the arrival of another ice age with the coldest winter in 50 years. In fact, we can see the ground as the white/gray ice that has covered the ground since December is almost all gone (except for the ugly decaying graying black hills in shopping center parking lots). It will be around 60 F / 15 C tomorrow. Nice!
Sincerely,
Me

pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.

With the potential enemy arriving by sea or from the mine, the group decided to split up. Leaving a sizable force to guard Balkr's ship and to guard against a counter attack from the mine. A small group of four volunteered to go into the crypt. After eight long hours, they emerge.
** This is where we will pick up next Friday - Jax, Ag, Adrian, and Sol entered the cave. This is an attempt to deal with those that did not enter (or show last night).**
Please respect the game and don't meta about what happened inside the crypt last night

Define "early tomorrow night" in boom-time.Ithildur wrote:Can at least the folks that went into the crypt last week log in early tomorrow night?
