  • "Egloog's Hide Armour" isn't hide armour at all: it has a base AC of zero. It's also undervalued.
  • "Necaradan's Crossbow" has a description suggesting it's magical. It isn't.
  • Blessed Greatsword of Talos" is probably a NWN2 weapon that slipped through the cracks - there's nothing ALFA-compliant about it.

They're not part of his usual assortment of goods though, but were temporarily added.

  • The Crooked Sword - Foulgrim sells a "Battleaxe, Alchemical Silver" without the damage penalty such an item should have.
  • Skaug Shoemaker Shop
    • isn't marked as an interior.
    • Keller
      • doesn't have a Returns Bin.
      • sells
        • an "Amnian Helmet" without an icon.
        • a +1 Diplomacy "Crimson Sikh Turban" at less than 100gp.
        • a +1 Concentration "Dwarven Helm" at less than 100gp, and without an icon.
        • a +1 listen "Eye Patch" at less than 100gp, which also has charges it cannot use.
        • A "Half Plate Helmet" I'm scared to price, but I'm fairly certain that +1 Bludgeoning Deflection AC on the head slot should cost more than 250gp.
        • a +1 Concentration "Skull Cap" at less than 100gp.
        • A +3 hide "Weird face mask" at less than 1350gp.
  • The Keelhaul
    • isn't marked as an interior.
    • Harry Twofingers spawns with only half his hitpoints.
By Castano 7/2/2011:
Areas are and have been checked off in properties as "Interior=True"
Returns bin added to shoemakers
Harry now set to max HP
Above items removed from store - however I note the eye patch comes with a -1 spot penalty so your price check is off

The "Freshwater Pearl", as randomly dropped by goblins, has a question mark for an icon.

Fixed 7/2/2011 Castano : note this is an Alfa Base Resources Item - so all servers are impacted unless they have also fixed.

Where did you find each of these things?
Skaug, on the wizard tower guy.

Ok these 3 are fixed and will be in the next update.

(1) egloog is now hide and priced right
(2) crossbow descr. edited
(3) greatsword - darksteel property removed, now it is just +1 electrical and repriced

  • Skaug Cave Barrow - Small Fire Beetles may randomly drop a scroll of "Charm Person" or a "Potion of Barkskin".
  • Skaug D3 Exterior - Mountains: The incendiary rats(?) may randomly drop a "Bastard Sword".
  • Skaug Maliceprow Manor - Jinsu Yingishi of Karu Tur sells:
    • "Elven Chainmail" that is underpriced.
    • "Elven Chain Shirt" that is underpriced.
    • Masterwork versions of several armours with an additional AC bonus, rendering them illegal. (We really should dump that rule, PnP be damned.)
    • "Ravenstar Masterwork Carapace". What is that thing? It's light armour with a base AC of four, so it's a chain shirt. The material property says "duskwood" and a carapace is an exoskeleton. So... it's made out of rings carved from the shell of a wooden lobster?
  • Wizards Tower 1st Floor - there's a message about entering a store area, but no actual Returns Bin.

There is a Masterwork Short Sword being sold by the guy in the armor shop that has +1 piercing damage instead of +1 to attack.

they violate the rules so they're wrong
People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.

Moonshine Crate is no where to be found from Elfsong/Moonshine quests (two PC have confirmed being unable to find it)

Castano: I think this belongs to BG?

That's the issue with posting this stuff to bug thread...so we make MS perfect but BG/TSM sell the illegal items according to you guys? I don't get it. We need to go thru ALL of Alfa and create a pallete of legal magic/MW items, put it on the DM FTP, and then ditch all our homemade stuff from all 3 servers.

This would be a GREAT project for standards, instead of the inevitable - YOU ARE SELLING ILLEGAL +1 PIERCING ITEMS OMGZ from everyone.

We can start small...someone can make a pack of compliant longswords for example in a variety of effects etc., all legal per alfa rules - any volunteers?

Builders can always customize appearance of each sword/base magic item after that - but they woudl be working off a blueprint with the correct properties instea dof guessing and praying that what they are copying is good.

Right now we are copying stuff from each other and if a builder copies items off server 1 that are illegal...well you get the picture...not every alfa builder is a rules maven to detect such subtle things.

*likes this*

Not having our weapons/clothes/armor AND placables in a unified Alfa Builders ERF pack is just killing HDMS and developers WASTING time building more clothes and more crap that we have ten of and slipping in little properties we may not see till its too late. :wall:

Sea Creature CR 1 (in Moonshaes_Hostile) is NOT CR one. It has stoneskin, knockdown, and a breath weapon with 70 dmg. Please relable before I manage to kill Bu again. (oddly Bu defeated it)

Perhaps not a bug, but on Skaug the combination of high base prices, high shop prices and high Appraise-rolling merchants can drive the cost of items well over 150% of their book value.
