HYME Session AAR

Post by Hyme »

Please tell me what you did or didn't like about tonight session and anything that i can improve on. No need to sugar coat anything I am big boy and can take the heat. I will start.

1. I think I need to speed things up.
2. Learn more of the lore.
3. I think i spent too much time with Drake.
4. I need to better prepare for what i am doing before hand.

Ok first off we all Got to see a DM..that is always good :)
I believe that the primary function of the Session was to Help AK's character reach a goal..so time with Draske was necessary.
If you think you won't have time or ability for everyone it's simple..don't invite everyone. We all should get it by now..sometimes our position is too play "left oui" That is ok as long as eventually some DM gets to us :D I'm being rather generous with this because as of Late..I've gotten more DM time than I have sionce Alyra Ashedown was a shiny new level 1..(not sure how long ago that was but My PC was playing with her :D Increased knowledge of Lore would be great but unless glaringly flawed most will go with the flow as you learn more of it.

Only you know how well you are prepared so can't add anything there..and don't worry about speed..one you are learning and two..would rather go slow and be concise than rush and have a confused mess.

just my two cents and again TY for any time in the DM seat

I know it can be frustrating when there's lag issues to deal with, and no one can blame you for needing to go AFK for your baby hyme. Seriously, in that situation just let us know and we can continue another time.

The only other thing I can say is that I personally don't mind waiting a bit longer to get things ready before a session actually begins, and that gives various PCs a greater reason to work out valid IC reasons to participate....or not, whatever the case may be.
