[LFG] Let's build something!
So, Roland is making his way south, getting as far away from anything related to The Silver Marshes and would like to start something up in Skaug. He's heading there to see what can be salvaged from the old mercenary business that Jafar used to run.
I havn't talked to Trid yet, so everything is just in the talking phase. I will however move to MS as it's a great server and should see a bit more activity. I'll probably bring Edgar (player of Bevan Tark) with me down to try and build something. We'd be open to anything that doesn't revolve around religion.
We're both around what I would call "mid-level" in ALFA and play very regularly on standard euro times (we're both in Sweden).

pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.

Re: [LFG] Semi-deaf scourge of the north
I spent the last two weeks on MS and had a great time. Highly recommended.
Re: [LFG] Semi-deaf scourge of the north
I'm open to any and all kinds of "grey area business" such as "wealth distribution", "import/export" and "escort services". I'd rather not see great characters feel they cannot contribute or participate due to level, so i'll try to build it so that there will be different groups within the organization that makes IC sense for people to do things together with.
The main motivation should be coin though. I have yet to talk to a DM about this, but if we get something rolling, player-wise, I am sure the DM's wont shy away from it. Perhaps we could even get different timezone groups if we get big enough.

If you could "wake" Tridsius that would be remarkable but I totally support this enterprise. Castano and kid both are available too at this time.
Just remember, MS is dangerous in the wilds so resist the urge to wander too far and too deep.

*smites the EBUL smugglers, criminals, and dubious businessmen with holy fury from above.*
Actually, if I'm on MS, and online at the same time, I can be reached for such things, but Jendari has some of those annoying morals things, so it would likely have to be a case-by-case basis she's approached on.

i will be up for something like this.
Re: [LFG] Let's build something!
This is what I want to hear. I've been recruiting people to the left and right and so far it looks like a pretty decent group. Some of the people on the list isn't final, but I'll dare to say it looks positive so here goes
Not all will be directly involved, but when oppertunity allows them.
Regulars:
Roland (boom)
Bevan (Edgar)
Anchra (puny)
Rothar (matti)
Ragnar (Deviant)
Rugnar (Darkmystic)
Rogen (Loken)
Aknar (pinkpink)
Noah (witch)
Guest stars:
Drake (Analogkid)
Hully (Durgeon Darkhelm)
Jendari (RandomRPer)
Bu (Galadorn)
Azra (Hexigo)
"Smurf" (Hyme)
Zyrus (Adanu)
No reply yet, but I assume will want to join:
Ulara (hollyfant)
There are great plans in motion on my part after some good talks with some people. I hope that the DM's of MS will approve as well. I am really looking forward to this

Zyrus wouldn't mind playing bodyguard or mercenary for coin driven groups typically. He isn't one to tie himself to a specific group without special circumstances though... so retainer type stuff probably wouldn't work for him.
First Character: Zyrus Meynolt, the serene Water Genasi berserker. "I am the embodiment of the oceans; serene until you summon the storm." Zyrus: http://tinyurl.com/9emdbnd
Second Character: Damien Collins, the atypical druid. "What? Being a stick in the mud is boring. No pun intended grins"
