I have my tells turned off. And from here on out I will not respond to tells as I will no longer have access to them via my settings. I'm sorry but it's the only way I can see to actually play this game and prevent others from embroiling me in a big OOC escapade. Don't ask don't tell. Well now you can't ask me and I didn't tell you. That's just the way it has to be.

I think it would help ALL players if we were able to have friendly OCC dialogs but also not encourage other people to meta game.

I think people should be able to find each other to socialize. Dms try to help that happen too.

But if a player tries to rope you in to breaking the rules, it is not so pretty.

Players. Play fair. Don't rope others into cheating and breaking the rules.

You need help with a Metagame situation (like a tech rez or trouble) get a Dm. You may have to wait a few hours or more, but don't drag others into cheating.

We all want to be nice and help others I think. And I hate seeing people get burned for that natural urge to help out.

Tells being turned off will make it really difficult for a DM to play with you! Dice rolls, etc.

That being said, if that's the sort of boundary dcjr feels he needs to set right now, then more power to him.

And like cloud said, don't do that to another player. It's messed up. Thanks.

I really take the responsibility here on myself, it's my fault alone. I do not think DCJ who was only motivated by his will to help should be punished.
