Expect to see in the next month...

1. - sittable chairs and mostly sittable benches

Fixed, many benches in the chapel now sittable. Chairs/stools in the towers and upper floor replaced, now sittable.9/27/09

2. - transition in towers fixed

Fixed, all four towers were hooked up wrong directional wise by their creator. This has been rectified, all towers are now hooked up NE,NW,SE,SW per the maps. 9/28/09

3. - bunkbeds with more room

Fixed, bunkbeds for forge workers raised with support beems to allow additional room, no longer need to be pixie sized to sleep in them. Two remain pixie sized, on the off chance that a gnome or hin Helmite wants to forge. 9/28/09

5. - crypt

Main work done. Tiles and doors layed, main placeables layed, lighting done. Connected to Chapel. Gravemarkers layed with names given by Dergon 9/28/09

Rest of the names after Dergons are in. Crypt is complete.10/01/09

4. - practice room for combat
6. - private quarters, lockable, with persistant storage.

Top floor including practice room, private quarters, dining hall begun. Tiles, placeable walls done, framework complete. 10/01/09
Walkmesh cutter used on placeable walls, linked to middle floor. 10/5/09

Bedrooms done. 10/11/09
Persistant storage of one Armoire and one lockbox added to each PC bedroom. Dining Hall complete. War Room complete.10/12/09

Walkmesh Complete. Doors set up for keys. 10/14/09

Practice Room complete. Lighting complete. 10/13/09

7. - Replace Corrador with a lesser ranking official for Helmite store.

If there is anything further those whom take residence in HI would like to see within the temple, post here and I will do my best to put what is wanted or needed in.

I will experiment with the practice room to see if I can get multiple targets for you to hit at once, for things like whirlwind attack. Can't promise I will find a solution, but I'll try.

Please look for bugs, this will be the last time I put effort into the build, so speak now.

Daniel

First...THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

So much appreciated, dan.

In the "speak now" vein ......
A couple things that I would love to see.

Instead of Vigilant Master Corrador being the store peddler, quest giver, etc. I would love to see him with his own chambers off of the main chapel. A lesser named NPC could be doing the "meet and greet" thing.

If possible as well, The room where the ballistae look out on the city from the top floor........would be awesome to be able to AT back out into Silvy onto the roof and get the finest view in town :)

Thanks again,

pete/dergon

Removal of Corridor and replacement with a lesser rank is not a problem. Hesitant to make a room off of the chapel to put him in, but that can be done. Would rather have him upstairs, but can build another room using chapel space for his working office.

As for the looking out over TSM ( the Golden Oak effect), I'd rather not experiment with such, as it has very little benefit, and it would need to be an exterior, and exteriors eat up memory, part of the reason why we switched to travel maps. I'd rather not add exteriors that only a few people would ever enjoy, but am more than happy to add as much interior as needed, as that doesn't eat up memory for the server.

Can I ask one of the members to compile a list of the PC's up to date that have died and are now in repose inside the crypt? Also, their rank upon death or posthumoulsy awarded.

Skimming the Roster thread on our own forum I've come across the following:

Shield Emmanuel Aguinaldo - Knight Errant of Helm
Shield Sioril Davis

Can't recall any others. Dergon pretty much got the lot, with the addition of Talson Taslon, or was it Taslon Talson? I can't remember, ask Rorax.

Oh, and MUCHAS GRACIAS, DUUUUUUUUUDE! :party1: :werd:

Right, done with this. Did not move Corrador in fear that I might muss something up, as there was quite a bit attached to the NPC. Look for it after the next update.

I love what you've done to the place...

Just one thing I've noticed, so far. I could get down the stairwell to the crypt level, but I couldn't leave the entry corridor to the rest of the area. No Walkmess.

Roger, will fix along with the door, the different tilesets often have issues when they meet up, hard to see within the toolset itself. The door above needs to be rotated 180 degrees as well, so when you come out of the crypt your where you should be, and not on the spiral staircase. And I left some carpet oddly arranged within the chapel itself. Will fix all these tonight.
