Ohhhh...the dreaded blue screen blues .

My last three blue screen events were each the result of failed hard drives...hope it's ram, mate.

Fix it quick and get back IG...if you give me too much time to plot, Garlus could be in trouble when he returns

check for dust bunnies...

no seriously... check for vid card or processor for overheating, most usually caused by dust in the fan...

What code is it throwing when it bluescreens? 0x ... ?

I'll be away on vacation and mostly afk for the next couple weeks.

This is as good a thread as any to hijack.

Life has got me really busy at the moment (or more to the fact, University has got me very busy at the moment). Over the next two weeks, I'm going to be around about as much as I have been the past two weeks - that's to say, not at all. After that things will pick up, slowly at first, but within just over a month from now I'm going to have so much free time I'm not going to know what to do with myself. And free time usually leads to more DMing.

Just as a small taster of some of the plots that are currently hanging - some half complete, some half started - I've thrown up a list of rumours in the IC Forum.

I'll be gone from Oct 7 through Oct 9. Don't find any bugs. Don't send me any erfs for immediate inclusion. Don't PM me (or at least don't expect a response). Don't 'splode the HDM until I'm back to watch.

Okay, now that I'm back I'm going to continue hijacking this thread, as it saves making a new one. Going to try and get DMing again (around this server connection crashing thing), slowly at first. Will be setting in stone 8pm Wednesday EST and then ad hoc when ever I get a chance. Mostly DMing on an ad hoc basis, this time is just for those who don't have so much free time at hand to log in every other night.

Quohrin..GSID Kelmont will be very sporadic..RE: Maybe on a lot but probably not much the next 5 days or so. My wifes Mom is dying of cancer..end of a 5 year battle. Wife is spending a lot of time out of town with her 700 miles away. She is back home for a few days then off again..when she is home She gets whatever of my time she wants I schedule nothing. When she is gone..I'm alone with three kids and my father (alzheimers) ..So for now I play when I can..and I really need the reality break sometimes. But I can't schedule anything. Wanted to let everyone know why I've been and will be a bit flakey as of late.
