A sticky for tales and songs

Any chance of getting a sticky thread to secure a location for PC's to post tales and songs? I've played with the PCtools macros enough to establish that while they are wonderful for IG emotes, they are nearly useless for tales and songs IG. While a single short song could be pre-loaded and deployed IG, one has no way of knowing which song to load before entering RP. And tales are out of the question.

While the tavern thread could perhaps be used for this, it is a bit cluttered with other posts. A Tales and Songs thread could remain uncluttered and be used not only by bards, but anyone who needs to deploy a text IG, i.e:

The RP calls for text, player1 begins it IG and then emotes..((see songs and tales thread for complete text)), then gives a brief synopsis of test for players 2,3,4, etc. to react to IG.

RP continues IG.

It's far from ideal, but it's the best way I can think of at the moment to simulate volumes of text deployed IG.

It occurs to me that tales and songs aren't necessarily local to TSM. Perhaps it is better to move it to GD or even the library, and sticky it there, so more people can both contribute and read it ?

Ack!....you're reply beat me before I could delete the post and move it to the "Suggestions" thread. I apologize for that, this should have been posted there.

Songs and tales told IG are by definition specific to TSM IMO, and really should be specific to the PC's present when they are told. They are deployed to suit a specific IG RP situation and when the player who takes the time to make one and then deploy it IG, it is only fair that the PC's it was intended for can get it without undue effort. If the text is posted to another forum for generic consumption it really "waters down" the effectiveness of the effort IMO.

Ideally they could be deployed IG and be captured only by the PC's involved in the RP, but the medium doesn't support that at this time. I and others could easily download our folders into another forum, but that really undermines the RP of it and I think many players wouldn't take the time to go seek them out in a generic location.

Moderators could always copy what they see fit to another thread in another forum, but tales and songs told in TSM belong in TSM. I'm still new here, so if this doesn't make sense I will happily follow whatever SOP you all lay out for us, of course.
