Ello, recently had to do a reinstall of my NWN2 due to patch fubar. Everything is cool now, ecept that when I try to log in the TSM, I get booted...I can't remember the fix for this. THe fix should probably be posted uptop in the stickie for future reference as well. Any HALP!!! appreciated.

Run Worldgate again. Then try to log in.

worldgate does not work for me, I am one of the fortunate ones that gets an error halfway through. I'll try and do a manual update of the pwc and see if that works.

Good news is, worlde now works for me!!!

A benefit to the frustration.
THe bad news is, I am up to date and it didn't solve the issue.
Any other thoughts?

Manually d/l the most recent pwc.
You likely have a corrupt file in your pwc.
In this situation, worldgate recognises you have the file, but not that it is broken. Certain areas can then cause a failure to load.
((note: I have no *actual* knowledge of computer stuff...this is just complete plagiarism of what Brokenbone told me when I had the problem

Found the problem. A couple months back I had to do a reinstall but my cd keys weren't working. So I got in touch with tech over at Atari and they gave me a new set. However, this time around my old cd keys worked for some strange reason...which of coarse caused the conflict. THe solution was to go into the install ini and swap out the old keys for the new manually...glad my first assumption to the problem was correct.

Looks like you figured this one out before I could confirm it
Yes, you need to use a consistent CDKey when you play, else there is potential for a lot of internal conflict for persistency. If for some reason you must change to a new CDKey, let me know and I can start into the (somewhat laborious) process of switching all the database records over to reflect the new CDKey.
