Tying up loose ends

Firstly thanks to everyone I've rped with since I joined. I've spent too many nights telling myself "just one more hour" over and over again until it starts getting light outside, and thats because we have a lot of good people in ALFA who are an absolute pleasure to play with.

I'm off abroad to study on Tuesday and have no idea when I will have regular access to the internet again, which means that Anselmo is going to have to duck out in to hiding for the time being. There are good IC reasons for him to do so now, but as it could be a matter of a month or two, or it could be as long as a year before I'm able to get back playing, the least that will happen is that I will be far out of synch with those I'm playing with now. Seems a shame to leave all these plots hanging (and just when they were getting so interesting). I think I'll be around on monday evening BST and if anybody who I have ongoing plots with would like to try and resolve them then, please post here or pm me and we'll see if we can sort something out.

Last but not least, many thanks to the DM team and all the builders here. It really is an amazing server and you're doing a great job. As for Wynna, you don't make things easy but you definitely make them fun

Thanks for all the nice comments, and thanks to everyone who participated tonight. It was pretty exciting. Sorry I had to leave before everything was resolved, I have to make final preparations tomorrow morning before I catch a train out of London.
Please let me know what the outcome of that little drama was. I'll be checking the forums when I get the chance. All the best, til next time

Glad I made it in time to partake.

Anselmo felt his way to the back of the cave, the dagger he had stashed just inside the cave's mouth held tightly in his bound hands. Trying to move of softly as he could, he barely suppressed a wheeze and spit some blood on the floor. Knowing his strength was slowly fading... he groped for the healing potion he had tucked away in a crack in the cave wall. Reaching up with his hands bound behind him in a most precarious position he jammed the knife into the fissure and fumbled for the potion. A sudden sound at the cave mouth startled the old seaman, and that loss of focus cost him the potion and much more. The flask spun to the floor breaking open at his feet. Cursing his luck and suppressing a laugh he reached back up for the dagger. Darkness began to blot out his senses as he slid down the cave wall. Turning himself to shield the dagger from view, he tried to hold on as long as he could slumped on the damp floor.
