Sorry for posting a question that I could likely find by scouring the forums... my ADD prohibits such logic, so here it goes: what limitations are there for race/class choice, and are the PCs created now intended to be long-standing since TSM is "live"? (obviously, "long-standing" is relative given the laughable longevity of most my prior PCs). Thanks.

Warlocks, favoured souls and any planetouched PCs are disallowed.

Also rogues and rangers can't use traps. May affect your class choice.

Good to see so many familiar names, and thanks for the replies. I assume that the ban on planetouched includes all ECL races (gensai, drow, duregar, etc...)?

The planetouched thing is temporary, someone's done a proposal where I guess scripting goes along with it. Other ECL races such as appeared in NWN1 are okay, but with a warning that there's really no Underdark enclaves to support them, yet. I.e., you're right in the general population with what in cases is a hated and feared enemy to most NPCs and many PCs. Still, this server will grow and others'll come online in time to support a more diverse series of concepts.

Thanks for the link, Brokenbone; huge help. I suppose I'll have to stay my hopes for a air genasi cleric of Shaundakul.

I'm going to start putting something together, and hopefully be ingame soon. Great to be back.

Downloads successful (though had to do it manually; couldn't get WGclient to work) and first session ingame complete. Place looks great, and God-Bless-The-Statics! I've always loved this aspect of alfa, and I'm SO glad they've made the transition. Kudos to all the builders/scripter/etc.. Looking forward to many more hours ingame.

Just as long as it's not a self-centered, manic-depressive air genasi cleric of Shaundakul, I'm ok with it.
