Bug Thread - Rick's New Quests

This thread will be only for bug associated with Rick's new quests. He will tell you where to look for them.

The quests are as follows:

Begin: Silverguard Fortress: Duty Watch Knight: Two Patrol Quests:

1) Patrol Quest to the Silverwood (follow the path until the tower)

2) Patrol Quest to the Silverymoon Pass (tower in the second area).


Begin: Rauvinwatch Garrison: Quarter Master: Supply Run

1) Supply Run to Quaervar

2) Supply Run to High Hold

3) Supply Run to Rivermoot


Begin: Catacomb Quest: Battle priest: Collect undead skulls

Not sure if this is fully working, but the skeltons and zombies drop skulls at the Deep Tunnel Level, if everything spawns right (cross fingers) also look for bettlemound treasure spawns to see if they work in the Catacomb Level 1 and 2.



Do not test the Knights in Silver and Argent Legion Joining quests as they are not finished yet.

Silverguard Fortress seems to be devoid of any living beings.

As mentioned in the bug thread, Rauvinswatch Keep has no enterable buildings, and no obvious quartermaster.

The battle priest has no conversation script. No hostiles spawn in the catacombs, and there are no ATs down to the lower levels.

Further, there was no module update available on WorldGate, so either none of this stuff works, or the module update adding it is still pending.

None of these are available for testing yet- as usual, I will post announcing the need to update worldgate after the new version of the module is up and hosted, as it tends to come with a new PWC for larger revisions.

New version is hosted now, PWC ready for update via worldgate. Feel free to start checking for new bugs now (and/or to prune this thread back for clarity).

The supply run to High Hold is broken. Unless there is more than one Argent Legion post there, and I chose the wrong one, there is no way to complete this quest. Nobody in the post has a conversation script.

Also, I don't recall being given a choice regarding which supply run to take. My only option seemed to be High Hold.

I'll check the script. In the post, the HH post sergeant should have spawned with a conversation, I'll check him. At least you got to talk to the quatermaster, that part works :)

The catacombs quest is still broken as well. The battle priest still lacks a conversation script. Also, the braziers in the entrance chamber seem to cast no real light (minimal light radius setting?).

The AT out of the catacombs is broken, so it's presently impossible to leave.

Lastly, the western door frame out of the entrance chamber has two doors within it.

Hmmm, I wonder if the right area got loaded in the version online, anyway, I'll be uploading a new version probably tomorrow, so I'll check those. Thanks!

Since Indio did work on silvy exterior (splitting the north and south halves, setting patrols/spawns/etc) I'd guess the AT destination may have been broken by that. I'll see what I can see in the mod and swap in a temporary way out for testing purposes.

Addiitonally when i went back to the post the second time there was a double spawn of all argent legion inside

I've fixed the catacombs AT, and know how to sort out the argent legion doublespawns (it's a setting on the NPC blueprint that's missing- sorted it for the Knight in Silver(s) and High Palace Guards last night- didn't know the Argent Legion were also affected).

Currently there is no southern AT in the Silverymoon Surrounds area, so there appears to be no obvious way of reaching the Silverwood, and hence testing at least one of the patrol statics.

The delivery static to High Hold is still broken in the new mod. The Argent Legion denizens still spawn without conversation scripts.

The conversation script might have been with the local (not spawned) Argent Legion Post Sergeant and not the blueprint in the palette. Should be an easy fix, all conversations I made start with rick_ and usually the NPC's name. Just add it to the creature blueprint in the palette.
