Found a travel map bug. Traveling from HH to Quaervaar on the first map was sent to an encounter area. When I left the encounter area at the other end it placed my PC back on the travel map road from RK to HH.

the same happens the other way also... if you drop off the map by clicking the follow icon, you end up between HH and Q rather than HH and RK road.

*Travel map mistagged WP was causing the mega-jump. Fixed.
*Taunt removed from Uthgardt. What exactly is "Yo Mama", in Uthgardtese?
*First tier of deity related statics debugged. Go ahead and do them
*Knight in Silver training statics debugged. Only do these if your PC wants to join the Knights in Silver
*Dergon and Rorax, AL has kindly reset to 0 your variables for Friendliness and Helpfulness, respectively. (Sorry you got assigned the quest by accident, Dergon.)

The 'tidy up the books' static for Oakroot is busted, attempting to stack the books in the wheelbarrel gives a 'bad strref' error... assuming its still checking the old LORE skill, instead of one of the new knowledge skills or straight INT check?

*Fixed Winter's Edge walkmesh. It was not on purpose that the entire map was inaccessible from the AT.

*Tidy up books static fixed to use new skills.

*Few typos fixed in the deity statics. Should be working now.

some "flocking" undead (skellies) seem to be wandering into battle then disengaging spontaneously and just walking around absemntly.

Not sure if this is a "flockability" thing or an "undead AI" thing since I noticed the same thing happening with the bG skeletons a while back..

Same thing happened with two Uthgardt I battled in a random encounter. Looks like a scripting thing. I can see them running away but not walking about aimlessly while Corio Sneak attacks them =)

BTW, this random encounter happened while I was walking solo to the hawk's Nest. Two Uthgardt warriors were very tough (about 35 HP each with +7 to hit). Upon defeating them Corio received 1 XP for each kill. :? The two barbs got him down to half HP in the fight. Perhaps when there is time we can look at the XP rewards for these kills, as they seem out of proportion to the risk involved. I heard from another player that they received 0 XP after defeating 2 ghasts on the road -- yikes. Also are these encounters scaled? Because 2 to 3 level 1's would have met instant death in that fight. :twisted:

Also, as the travel map random encounter system is refined, please try to make the encounter areas suitable to different class fighting styles and/or evasion without turning back. An encounter on a narrow stretch of road is very dangerous to any but a tank. Other classes need to use hit and run tactics or sneak around the threat =) I had another encounter at the town on the Silvy Pass with a troll! It was perfect because there was enough room for my wounded rogue to stealth around it and evade to get past it to the next transition -- with an option to run to the town for safety screaming if it attacked him =) This was perfect IMO as it gives options and "room" to RP the encounter instead of fight or flee. Very tense moment as my toon was wounded and VERY enjoyable to see these varied spawns while traveling. I am loving this system (TY Wynna) and post these suggestions/ideas to hopefully help make it even more awesome as it is further expanded/refined. :D

My Char Fardnost also recied the Knights in Silver quest2 Friendliness..and didn't ask for it..at the parade grounds. Also the abandoned house in silverymoon is not spawning NPC's this is needed to complete the first quest for the Constable..the good news is While "keeping an Eye" on the place I've had some good RP and interaction with some of Our GREAT players. BTW not to hurt anyones feelings but you're not GREAT until I ourget to play with you...Then regardless of how a PC's feel You are GREAT LOL

I don't know if this is a bug, a mis-clicked server setting (ie. server set to insane instead of HCR) or just my bad luck all coming together in one night, but the mobs seem to be rolling a shit-load of 20's, tonight. I "patrolled" the HH area, cleaning out the various caves and such, and got pounded on harder tonight than I have in ages, taking 11 hits, only 1 of which was from a 19 that connected (which in itself causes me to question whether or not the Dodge feat is being applied properly or not) and the rest were natural 20's. I've done this particular routing before and never took more than maybe 4 or 5 hits from natural 20's for the whole area. 10 natural 20's is unprecedented for something like that.

Heh -- I think I rolled 4 natural 1's in a row in an event with Rotku last night. I think someone's out to get us. :wink:

Everdusk hall quest: Loken Eagleflisht does not have any conversation, so the quest can not be completed.

RM braziers and torches no longer light up.

ATing out of the Great Oak area via the eastern AT ports you out to the western AT on the overland map

Rundarr Ironshield just robbed me of 72gp. I tried on one of his suits of enchanted full plate to check something, and when I returned it via the bin I got 72gp less for it than what I paid (2577gp instead of 2649gp). I got a screenie if anyone needs proof of the midget's larcenous behaviour.
