Re: Exalted Campaign Thread
Again, might or might not be there dependant upon arrival of a power source for the pc. Hopefully I purchased the right one this time around.

I am planning to be there, but I am also on call, so the usual rules there apply.

I'll be there.
Built: TSM (nwn2) Shining Scroll and Map House (proof anyone can build!)
Re: Exalted Campaign Thread
Sorry to miss this one folks.
Dragged my game disks and booklets hundreds of miles north on the road, to Chicago!
Spent hours installing, patching, downloading HAKs!
Epic fail in letting the system update all the way to 1.22!!!!
Sorry to miss it. Hope you guys are having fun

Re: Exalted Campaign Thread
Well... Exalted is over. Honestly not the ending I was hoping for, but certainly a good one, and very epic.Props to all players involved. Next campaign will be posted in a bit.

<fluff> vendrin is like a drug
Re: Exalted Campaign Thread
Congrats to all involved. It's been fun to read from the sidelines, even if I don't know most of the details.

If the children thing had not happened, I guarantee you it would've ended in another fashion.Vendrin wrote:Well... Exalted is over. Honestly not the ending I was hoping for, but certainly a good one, and very epic.Props to all players involved. Next campaign will be posted in a bit.

Re: Exalted Campaign Thread
Thanks to both Vendrin and the players. For many it was the first time I've really gotten to play with you, Fluff, Mags, and to some extent Creslyn as well as Riot. Very enjoyable, all of your PC's had me smiling at one point or another. Definately a variety of PC's, each very interesting and rich. It was also enjoyable to see PC's I have been playing with for a while spread their wings and grow. Good times all around, and well played. Vendrin, you have a good talent for the dmship. Quiet enjoyable.
A few suggestions for Ven.
A. Lay down the rules from the beginning, and have a cohesive solid unit. I know it's not cool to leave people out, but in many cases it is necessary to avoid contiued transience.
B. Midway points - A lot of our traveling was very monotonous, going from the Moot to High Hold, or WInters Edge, or the passes. Throw something into the middle of the traveling from A to B, even if it is just a farmer that needs help getting a new wheel on his wagon going to market. You never know when you'll use that same farmer later on...maybe the group gets a good or bad rap with a faction due to their response to the farmer.
C. Careful about basing a campaign around one PC. This time was pretty good, but you def. run the risk of teh "ah-oh, X didn't show up and I have nothing planned that we can do without them" scenario.
I enjoyed the campaign very much, TSM is lucky you stepped forward to help out.

What they said.
Thanks so much, Ven, for putting together a very enjoyable campaign! Great RP frequently involves interpersonal conflicts and problems that are not easy to solve and this campaign had plenty of both. Again, thank you. I look forward to what you have cooked up next. Hopefully Dawn will fit in somewhere.
Kudos to everyone else involved as well. Some of you I had either never played with before or played with you only sparingly. I enjoyed getting to know all of your PCs and look forward to more.

Personally, I had a great time. Thanks to everyone involved.
Re: Exalted Campaign Thread
I just wanted to chime in one last time, since my post prior was rather simple. I enjoyed this campaign immensely, especially with all the players involved. There were times when my character, as well as myself, became annoyed with the outcomes of the campaign/character issues, but that just added to the flare of the game. I also spent many days smiling and laughing as the campaign went on, enjoying all of the twists and turns. I had not expected the end to result as it did, I will admit that as the days drew nearer I really wanted Louen to be salvaged; but, c'est la vie, and it shall be entertaining now with the latest twist of his character.
I also agree with Dan's points. I know that, with life coming up, my absence may have delayed the plot longer than Vendrin wished, and I apologize once more for that. I will be trying to be on more often now, so hopefully I'll bump into many of the Exalted PCs once more, whether in TSM or BG. Good show everyone.
